You have a working knowledge of Docker and you're looking to take your container game to the next level. Time to take a look at Kubernetes. In this video, you'll learn about what Kubernetes is and some of the main benefits that you can get from using it. We'll talk about how Kubernetes makes deploying, scaling, and maintaining Docker containers (or rather just containers in general) easier in the wild and at scale.

CoderJourney 2 years ago Thanks for the kinds words. I use the Audio-Technica ATR-2100 USB mic (http://amzn.to/2ojr1Sx), screencast using ScreenFlow (https://www.telestream.net/screenflow/overview.htm). I record live video using an iPhone 7, but I also record the audio using my mic and sync the mic track with the iPhone video. Lastly, all editing and exporting of the videos are currently done in ScreenFlow.

Tarik Guney 1 year ago When you add more containers, you are not scaling up but scaling out. Scaling up means adding more resources to the same server.
  • CoderJourney
CoderJourney 1 year ago Valid point. Kubernetes abstracts that out though since you don’t really care if new containers are on the same machine or a different machine so long as there are enough resources.
